The Afghans in Business event will introduce REDI and REDI’s new Global Entrepreneurs program to the Afghan refugee community, a large refugee community in Columbia/Boone County.
With close to 300 individuals, the Afghan community has wide entrepreneurship potential and appears to have a strong entrepreneurship interest as well (half of the GEP’s clients are from Afghanistan.)
