LANDSCAPE HIGHLIGHTS THROUGH OLD SW

TICKETS: Free & reservation required as tour group size is limited.
Donations are appreciated!
WALKING: 1.5-2 hours, some uneven surfaces (sidewalks and park footpath)

LANDSCAPE HIGHLIGHTS STROLL THROUGH OLD SW
Join us on a walking tour to learn about residential landscaping and gardens in the numerous residences of the historic Old SW neighborhood. Residential gardens and landscaping will be observed and discussed from the street or sidewalk on this tour. A handout will be provided and some walking will on be uneven surfaces (poor quality sidewalks and a footpath through a park).

Tour guide: James Quinn

James Quinn is a retired horticulture specialist from University of Missouri Extension. His expertise includes organizing and leading educational efforts with flowers, fruit, vegetables, greenhouses and ornamentals. He has enjoyed gardening/landscaping at the one-acre yard of the Prairie Bungalow house “on Broadway” where he’s resided with his wife of 25+ years.


Join a CoMo Preservation guide for a FREE walking tour as you ramble the neighborhood of the Old SW and learn about its gardens and landscaping in this historic ramble. Gardens will be observed from the street on this tour.
