MOVIE THEATERS THROUGH TIME
Join us on a walking tour to learn about Columbia's historic movie theaters. We’ll explore stories of changes in our culture starting in 1897 reflected in movie theater architecture. This stroll is less than one mile and lasts two hours as we ramble through downtown Columbia. The tour focuses on historical spaces and movie theaters: A discussion of the what, how, and why that powered the rise and fall of the movie theater industry in Columbia and nationwide. 

Tour guide: Dianna Borsi O'Brien

Dianna Borsi O’Brien is author of the book "Historic Movie Theaters of Columbia Missouri" and current president of CoMo Preservation.
